Warehouse Rack Wire Decking
Types of Wire Decking
Wire decking is incredibly versatile, with several types and configurations you can use to support pallet racking and your storage needs. Here are the different types to choose from:
Double Waterfall
Double waterfall pallet rack decking has two downturned ends that hook over the back and front of beams. The edges create a secure fit to the pallet rack beams, resulting in a stable and reliable storage platform. This type of wire decking can carry various loads while preventing item shifting.
Upturned Waterfall
Upturned waterfall decking features a down-turned edge on one side and an upturned edge on the other. The design helps secure the load, preventing boxes and other items from shifting and falling off the back of a racking system.
Inside Waterfall
Unlike standard waterfall warehouse wire decking, inside waterfall decking has edges that rest on the inside of the beam. The design allows for better access to items as well as easy loading and unloading from the front. Since this type doesn’t require the ends to hang over the beams, items quickly slide out of the shelves.
Flat Flush
Flat flush wire decking also sits directly on the inside of the beams, similar to inside waterfall decking. However, this decking is less stable, making it better suited for storing smaller items.
